Pony Express Lake Conservation Area
Excellent fishing with boat rentals, boat ramps, wheelchair-accessible fishing jetties and a picnic area. Prairie wildflowers and wetland wildlife are also plentiful for viewing. Wallace State Park
Trice-Dedman Memorial Woods, owned by the Nature Conservancy and cared for by park staff, is one of the best examples of a pre-settlement forest in northwest Missouri. Individual and group campsites, trails, fishing and picnicking are all offered at the park. Open year round and admission is free; located 6 miles south of Cameron off I-35.
