Big Spring Park

Longwell Museum
Established in 1970 as a teaching museum, the Longwell Museum is found on the campus of Crowder College. It houses many artifacts of Thomas Hart Benton as well as the famed Daisy Cook collection and contains over 5000 photographs, manuscripts and records that chronicle the history of Camp Crowder, a WWII Signal Corps Training. Neosho National Fish Hatchery
This is the oldest operating federal fish hatchery in the U.S. The hatchery raises rainbow trout, spoonbill, sturgeon, brown trout and is the home for the endangered blind Ozark cavefish. Open year round, admission is free Call 417-451-0554 for more information.

Newton County Historical Park

The Spook Light
This eerie phenomenon is an unsolved natural mystery that has appeared nightly for more than 100 years. World's Largest Flower Box
